Berthing Information

Royal Selangor Yacht Club, Malaysia has a number of floating pontoons located in the Klang River, close to the Clubhouse. These consist of River Pontoons with access by our 24hr security and ferry patrol, and Club Pontoons connected to the Clubhouse by bridge. Only the Club pontoons have water and electricity, but users of the River Pontoons can access the Club Pontoons for fuel, water and battery recharging on an ad-hoc basis. Pontoon spaces will be allocated to members as required by RSYC management. Limited berths are available for visiting yachts and booking ahead of arrival is advised.

WARNING – The Klang River is subject to five metre tidal variations and there can be a 3 – 4 knot current past the club pontoons. It is advisable to arrive close to slack water for safer mooring and to ask for advice when approaching.
